Welcome to our new concept: A Sunday Night Special; the unique and intimate opportunity to see live electronic acts in a warm and cozy environment. Our first event will be held at Habitat Living Sound, the perfect small venue to nudge up against your fellow dancers and waste the night away.
To launch the series Get ready for one of Canada's most dynamic female emcees, Miss Erica Dee! The daughter of a Jazz musician and a product of today's digital era, Erica blends the soul and depth of singers like Erikah Badu and Nina Simone with rugged basslines and variant BPMS. The annual host of the Shambhala Village Stage Hip Hop Showcase, Erica is a long time West Coast favourite.
Erica will be playing alongside Calgary's own Rebecca Dawn & Jayzen from the Contraverse Hip Hop Crew, Yolanda Sargeant & Conrade, Mama Miche (Stirling Agency) and Four Eyes (Potpurri). A champion cast of woman who work hard to make Calgary's underground scene interesting and one of a kind.
